The environment
Orust has a distinct sea environment, yet it is also a small-scale agricultural area. Here you can see the barren yet fantastic coastal landscape and also forests, lakes, flat land, valleys and hills. These variations in nature are an experience in themselves, and the natural beauty as such is preserved. We want to keep it so and not invest more than is necessary in exploiting our rich natural resources.
Fresh air and clean water are themselves something to desire. The concept of environment now concerns not only our natural surroundings but also the surroundings in which we live and work. When it comes to leisure activities, Orust has a lot to offer. To start with, the extremely fine environment; an eldorado for those who are interested in nature, bathing, fishing, boating, and leisure activities in general.  |
